The Cold and Calm Dickensian

Well with the last weekend of December about to happen, its time for Dickensian. Well this is the start of the Christmas period, for Tavistock at least. But it was a long day at work, more of the the cleaning and preperation for the night.

As i woke up, after fapping over emma, i decided to get up and then prepare everything i needed. I did technically pack my PS3 and things the night before. At this point, i decided to also get changed and make some makeup to make me look more like a chimmey sweep. This was getting a piece of coal and rubbing it on my cheeks, i kid you not. But its more of a chance to look better than last year, i think and others said it had, so i'm proud.
The selfie before i left work, with the coal visible on my cheeks
After that, it was packing up my TV in the Hall, which is also my monitor, as well as the Vita TV and Chromecast. Then i started to leave for work, i started the vlog at this point, well because i felt like it should of started, since it was a busy day for me, well long more than busy.
The bag with what i needed before i left, including PS3, PS Move, Sorcery, Charging Station, PS Vita TV, Chromecast,19" TV and 2 Dualshock 3.
The run to work was almost difficult, since the rucksack was falling off, but i made it in about 13 or so minutes. Then i got into work and the day started off quiet, and it was mostly quiet. Various bits of preperation, booking cables and laptops into the till, selling the little things and being fascinated with some Bluetooth Speakers that one of our local suppliers stocks. Made by Sumvision, its called PSYC. Nice red packaging and all. But that was mostly the day done.

Setting up the Consoles and Part of the Entertainment for the night.

Later on, the day was passing by and it was nearing 5:30, so i decided to venture off to buy my dinner for tonight. Now last year i had some food from a Filipino cafe and this year, the same place was re-opened. So i decided to try some. I went in and it was £6 for a takeaway in a box. You could choose up to 4 course, and i chose the following:

  • Chicken Soup (Chicken and rice in a sauce)
  • Chicken Curry
  • Noodles
  • Beef steaks
And that is £6 and i added a nice can of 7up as my free drink, then i rushed over to the Chinese takeout i like, ordered 3 things which arrived to the cost of £5.70. Then after waiting about 15 minutes, i collected it and ran back to work to eat it. After getting back, my bosses joking about me not sharing, i went up and started eating it. I'm not going to lie, most of it was tasty, although i might of ordered too much and got full halfway through eating it:
My meal i ordered, filled out the whole tub almost :) Cost me £11.70 for all of this.
Then once that was partly finished, i turned on the consoles and starting enjoy some vita, i was trying chromecast but it couldn't pick up works router, then it was playing LocoRoco Midnight Carnival while watching customers play Sorcery, some girls were playing it, it was not too bad. Then it came to 7:40

By this time, i was almost finished with talking to some customers about pairing the PSYC speakers to someones iphone and the customer has trouble hearing on the phone, so she bought them and the husband was worried they might not be loud enough. But shortly after that, i walked around town for a bit:

This was quite a short walk around, some morris dancers, some orchestras and various BBQ stands, in late November lol. But then i walked my way back, strolling in the market, various traders were dressed up. I even saw Child of Eden, sealed for £8, i might get that soon. Then it was time to head back to work.

It was calmer when i got back, i did chat with a customer and they might want to have me give them a lesson for the usual £15 per hour, they might even drive me to ivybridge and back. But then after chatting about his IT problems for 20 minutes, it was more time to experiment with the content manager and explorer the PS Store, i did find some demos but it was nearing 8:30 when it was getting quiet and time to pack up.

After taking an hour to pack up and also help my boss load things into his car, i decided to wander around for the last bit to see before i headed home, there wasn't anything important, but i did take a piss. Then i ran home. I left my stuff at work, i could show it off tomorrow. Just to get more footfall into the store.
Then as i got home, and getting relaxed, the cat whines and i let him out, get a drink.

So that concludes Dickensian evening for me. It was a good night and i did like it, sure i would of liked to be with someone special like emma for it but i get to prove how much she means to me soon, well partly not prove, but christmas time and all. For now, expect the next blogpost to be up on the 9th December or the week after. When presents for loved girls will be bought.

A cold cycle for some quick shopping

With November prancing past us, day by day, i decided it was time to head out into Plymouth once again. Even though its been a busy 2 weeks after the Fireworks at the hoe, with work being busy, covering maternity leaves to even being stuck in a porch. Now that was NOT fun. But i'll get to that later.

The first thing to announce, is that my sister bought a 9 week year old kitten for £200. She is a maincoon, adorable and intelligent as well as playful, i've been bonding with her often, looking after her, making sure both her and the poodle get on, which she does. Shes named Aries, but based on her blue eyes that she has more than the greek mythology.
Aries enjoying some cat videos.
But this leads into some recent events, the time when i was stuck in a porch for 2 hours :@.
To sum it up, i was checking on Aries last friday, she was in the porch since everyone else was out, so i closed the door between the porch and the hall....BIG MISTAKE. It turned out that it locked the door without me realising, so i was trapped there, even though i was using ways to force the door open from using some wire from my dad's old toys to pick the lock, to using a small portable radiator looking heater and smash the door in. I got locked in there at 9:35, i got out about 11:30 with the postman going in the back door and opening the porch door from the back, crazy stuff. Then my day was as normal, i did dent the door in slightly but only a few marks, but that was about £300's of damage.

But back to today.

Preparing the bike for the journey

Now with the Christmas shopping underway, well not for me but with Plymouth in general, it was time for me to do my usual shopping and see the sights. I decided to cyc1e there yet again. I woke up at 9:30, after fapping over a beautiful chubby girl names issie hartley, i got prepared and then i left. My sister was asking me to take a shot of the globe thats in there. I cycled out and it was a breezey journey, it was freezing cold, even with the pure sun beaming in my eyes, but i was warming up nearer and nearer reaching the city.
By Clearbrook, the Sun and the wet trail
I got into drake's circus about 12:21. Which was about a 1 hour, 50 minute journey, which i just pealed in 2nd gear for the most part. But i decided to look around in a few shops, first off was primark. I decided to have a look at jeans and i ended up buying 2 of some 32" waist bootcut jeans.
The jeans i bought from Primark - Bootcut Denim Co size 32" jeans for £10 each
After that, i browsed a few phone shops, including Carphone warehouse were i was having a nice geeky chat with a cute bbw redhead, we got off on the right foot and it felt nice talking to her, she helped me out with the specs for the SIII mini but that was £149 Sim Free. It was a nice phone to be fair, but i could get cheaper and better value from Chinavasion. After that i headed out to meet up with Pete and James and i thought Charley as well, but that wasn't the case.

I was supposed to meet them at the Top Lyolds bank at 1pm, i ended up going to the bottom one, which then Pete called me (which the number said unknown, maybe the MTK6589 caller id glitch) and i ended up meeting him at poundland. Me and Pete both looked around, i needed a USB fan so i was going to buy one, but it turned out the queue was pretty insane, so we left it until later.

Eventually, me and Pete met up with James at Starbucks and then we walked around looking for a box of chocolates for Pete colleague's birthday, so we looked around and eventually found a nice Mint boxset for about £5, he paid for that, then bought a bag to put it inside, we went to a mini store place, which had plenty of Christmas Decor, bags, cards and other bits of tat. So i looked around, some sex toys were around, train sets and other bits of toys which are better for melting than playing. But then we all met up again after pete paid for the bags.

We then headed out to a local cafe near Primark, called Caffe Latte, it was a small breakfast bar but had some really cheap but tasty food, so Pete had a sausage and bacon bap, Me and James had breakfasts baps, with 2 sausages, Bacon, eggs and whatever sauces they had on offer. James had Brown Sauce, whereas i had BBQ. It was delish to have and only cost me £2.49, which is an ok price since there was no drink included.
The Breakfast Bap, looks delish and only cost me a okish £2.49.
Both James and pete were chatting about various topics, then it was about 2pm and Pete had to get back to work, so me and James explored a few places. Chatted about various things, i even found out Bronti is single from some events curly haired people do in the Jesters rave room. Also James asked about the novel as well as possibly planning a meal next month as a final meal of the year. I hope i get some chance to do that before 2014. Then we looked in various shops, like the Apple Store, which was testing and asking about iMovie for OSX 10.9, then browsed the American Sweet ship. After that, i took some pics of the Globe that was near the christmas market, it was an average globe with £2.50 entry fee each person, it looked nice, with the fake snow and a small inflatable globe
The Inflatable Globe

The mix of Globes nearing the top of Armada Way

After that, i looked in CEX and decided to buy a 1TB internal HDD for £40 which was nice, it was a segate re-certified 3.5" and looked ok, it had been fully tested and works fine. The queue for it was alot shorter than usual, so it was quicker to get served in there, a nice chap served me, he explained the HDD history and about his setup and vice versa. Once i bought that, both of us went in Poundland and then i bought a USB fan and a PS move Charging stand. The official one for £1, thats really good value, although the  After that, i looked in House of Fraser to speak to Maisie, for something i'll mention later on, but she was nice and helpful. Then it was helping james out with shopping in Tesco, he picked out a range of things, like blueberries, frozen vegetables, alpen and other minor things.

Once that was done, we split our ways and then i left for my bike, which was ok, but having to clean the bike with a toilet roll was quite effective and then i got set and left for home. The bike ride was ok and my legs were feeling stronger which made hills less difficult. The temperature was chilly, it was even starting to rain nearer the end. I got home about 5:20 and then got unpacked as well as let the cat out. But below is what i bought on the day:

The stuff i had bought today: 2 pairs of Jeans for £20, A 1TB Segate Re-Certified 3.5" HDD for £40, A Playstation Move Charging Stand for £1 and a USB Notebook Cooler for £1. Total Spent = £62
And that sums everything up, now next up for the blog will be Dickensian, which is the final public event before Christmas and New Years, which i might blog about. Maybe soon its time to get christmas sorted and possibly a giveaway soon. But for now. Enjoy the cold Winter nights, Shitty i'm a Celebrity with a guy with brighter teeth than an average person's future but who is dumb as shit.

For now, see you in the next one

omracer's Night out: A banging firework display

Well with the first set of fireworks over in Tavistock, the next for me to see was the annual one in Plymouth. From the tweets I've read, I found out that I could finally see Emma again and ignite the burning flame in my heart that has been shattered and that flame was close to burning out, which I don't want to lose. But will I see her and replenish my heart, especially on a wet and cold November night. Read on to see. But if you want to see the vlog for that night: click below:

The beginning of a hopeful evening

To start the day off, I was working an extra day at work, to help me focus on things and to be honest, make me earn the reward of something amazing. Anyway it was a usual day at work with:  demanding customers, orders to make, cold weather, researching. But about 4:15 after checking on a HDD enclosure for a Seagate GoAgent desk, I ran home in the small rain, hoping I would get to see Emma tonight
Then I got home, I got changed into my usual attire, after a shower. Then i checked my emails and had to ignore the cry of windows 8.1 pro wmc to be activated which I've had for a month at least now. I finally left at 5:11 and pelted it to the bus stop by lidl, where I always get the bus now. After getting on and paying £3 for a day rider (Finally cheap to go on a bus) I was on my way to Plymouth.

While on the bus, I carried on reading a PDF of The Pandora's Box system, which is a book by a possible scammer but more known as a pick up artist Named Vin Decarlo. I've been reading this book for some time now, its sort of insightful and teaches you some nice skills in some respects. I'm still reading the last section but its good to know the chat up lines and tactics which hopefully i could use to get a chance with Emma or someone i want to devote my love and heart to as much as her. If you want to read the book, click HERE.

While I was passing Yelverton reading a chapter of the book, I got a text from Jess which I won't explain since I can't but it ended having to retract my realisation of something. After that was sorted, I got off by the Morrison's on outland road, and started running my way to town, listening to music from persona 4 arena, hoping I get to see Emma. By this point the firework vlog had started.

The view of the wheel and oxygen Booster from outland road

As I got into town, I looked around and ended up passing chavs, bbws and other types of people. Even some chavs asked me "are you living the dream ". I said no, they are laughing and carried out asking others the same thing.
Later,  I went to the casino, which was very good, considering I used a £1 to donate to a musician on the way there, I bought a glass of lime for £0.35, after a quick filming and drinking that, I played a few rounds of blackjack, the guy was acting like a card magician, but I did get 21 twice so he might of been.

The drink from the casino that cost me £0.35. Quite nice, definatly refreshing for me, the only drink today i have had at this point of the day, about 7pm.

Then before I started making my way to the main event, the hoe, I decided to pop into Charley's work, just in case she was working overtime and I could possibly see her for one last time this year, but my luck may have started running out, I didn't see her. So I sighed and made my way to the hoe for the fireworks and bonfire.

I walked around, the music was much louder this time by the stage, there was a crane holding it up which might of been the cause but at some cases, it was making the ground tremble, well during the actual event.
The fair was reasonably good, some old favourites from Tavi Goose Fair were there like oxygen and Tyson's Typhoon as well as the rides from David and Shane Rowland. Some beautiful pics of the night were taken, enjoy them below:

Another view of the Fair from the East Side of the Hoe

At 7:31 the bonfire was lit, although the smoke was blowing east, nearing the citadel it was still a nice tradition being shown for sky to light up on. Then it was more wandering around until 8. Which just as o was setting up Ustream on my phone, the music blasted and the fireworks were on for 17 minutes. Maybe the music was too loud, but it was nice, even the heart shaped red fireworks, which made me wish i could see Emma, but alas I missed that dream and I even walked past jess, she noticed me but I didn't, I feel like a complete twat and considering I have plans which might need her help, I do not want to lose her as well.

After the fireworks, i walked around before waiting 10 minutes at the big wheel, my boss suggested i should do a meet and greet there, but that didn't work nope, no luck, even if i did get 2 retweets from the tweet mentioning i was doing one

But alas after walking around, i wandered back into town, looking in various pubs and bars, looking for a bite to eat and maybe a drink. I tried some places near uni, even this new "Caffeine club" which looked pricey and there are rumours you have to pay for TAP WATER :@. So i walked out of there and i was in a clamour of about 50 to 100 foreign plym uni students, walking around wasn't too hard but a bit tricky in some cases. I popped into places like Cuba, KFC, Spar, Papa Johns, Pizza hut and others.

Some good offers were in a premier store in Mutley, i mentioned in Halloween night out blogpost about the large cake, well i saw them again and i wanted to actually show you how big they actually are and for £1.69 each, this is top notch fattening food on a budget.
Look at the sizes of that Angel Cake and that Chco Cake, that looks orgasmic and tempting, more than a 300lb girl i like, but if she was 300lb, she would get both no questions asked

A better look at the large chcolate cake, this looks too good to be true, i hope its as good as it looks
Then i walked into dominoes, and i looked at a menu, so basically there shouldn't be anything else to mention here, nope actually there was a helpful middle aged chap at the till, i told him about being lactose intolerable and he mentioned some options like having a BBQ sauce base in half to cover the cheese flavour. I wasn't really paying attention since i really wanted to buy this for a girl and spend time with her while feeding it, but after 20 minutes, i decided to head out.

Then i went to the house, it was nearing 10 by this time so i bought some nice meatballs on the way to the House, for £1. Since i was hungry, me saying no was not a good idea. So i took them with me to the house.
The meatballs, they are the same from the spar in Tavi
When i get to the house, i ring the bell, the usual funny chime rings. James answers the door "alright bey", then lets me in, i firmly close the door behind me, then he shouts "PETE, GET DOWN HERE" at the top of his lungs, then James says "hide" when i walk into the lounge, Pete gets in, says "what" as he enters the lounge, so i tap him on the back, shocked him slightly. But after that, we chat for about half an hour, more going back to the erotic novel and the best line was "and then he fingered her". But it was quite funny, thinking of it, then i might of spoiled to them a part of what happens in the 2nd novel I'm working on, but it won't be finished until early December but defiantly before this year ends. That and we were also discussing chat up lines since i mentioned some from the Pandora's Box system PDF. It is always a fun laugh down at the house, it cheered me up after losing the possible final chance to see her again, unless something happens *sigh*.

Then it was time to get home, i pelted it up the hill and got there 2 minutes before 22:50 and the bus ended up arriving at 23:10 which annoyed me. But then it was relaxing and typing this up.

So there we have it, that's another year nearing its ends, the next blog and vlog is possibly Dickensian but there might be some extra ones if i get a meal out or if i manager to get Sophie a 20th birthday present, but for now, its relaxing and working while covering my workmates possible hours since his daughter named Paris is now in this world.

Until next time.
