#TavistockGooseFair2023: The Clearing Night of Rain

Now this is where the rush begings and actually was a waste of time in some ways, but it leads to exploring and getting final bits for present Ideas for family and even wasiting money on one last takeout, The rain was a shame but enjoy the vlog below:

The Editing afternoon :

So this was after the editing of the vlog, it was a deep session to edit, but it was warm and semi cosy in the shop, with trackies on, a warm jumper and hearing the rain outside, it was that little bit peaceful too. But it was getting a bit of the energetic mushy head side of autopilot, but it was eventually leading to 7:30pm and time to finally prepare for the filming of the vlog, all in all it was about 3 knocks on the door in total.

I finally left the shop nearing the 8pm mark to finally start to explore in the rain.

The Wet exploring:

We get the walking out and then pass the sizzler. There were a few bits of crowds but it was not looking as hectic due to the weather and it was the sign that some stalls were starting to pack up as well.

The Sizzler

As I walked towards the centre, some of the stalls were starting to clear out and start packing up for the night, from the Christmas card tats to some of the mountain and outdoor clothing too. Then it was going to be showing of the end of this part of the saga. So I walked up and the rain was starting to kick in.

Hoodies to enjoy and see

Then it was walking through the back and time to carry on in the strip, since there were chances to get bits final before it packs up and one goal was a pug throw from the top of it, since unlike last year, I won't be going home once this ended.

As I walked up the first stall to pick up was the Bungees, since the one with the hood clamp on would make it a good idea for when I need to move things about. So £3 on that was not a bad start. As I walked my way up past the junction, I saw more of the stalls like the jewellery and the slushie plus the flocks for the candy were still some here and there.

So it was nearing more stalls with the Pokemon card and even some tat with cables and it was seeing the Evercade EXP which was the one that some were stolen from the back of the truck which for these stalls seems like an easy deal for a steal in a pun intended way. More stalls even like hippie garments were coming across but £88 a piece is nice in a posh way. it was soon earing to the food court and the car park had live music towards it.

The rain was easisng off  at this point, but the live music was quite off tune for the moment too, but the crowds were alot less of them. Especially as it was getting near the end of the night. It was then to carry on walking up and finding out some more stalls closing, like the Donut stall sold out by the time I got there,  then walking up to the end to finally get one of the throws, the pug throw for £15 was an ideal one for my sister for christmas or birthday to pick out for.

Then it was time to walk my way back to the strip, with ideas on either going on the Helter Skelter or just more exploring before some food then to go home or back to the shop to get the rest of the video editing done and sorted out.  This was starting to head down from the 8:30pm time.

The view looking back as we start to go back

The walking back was starting to show its true colours of the rain, which it was starting to get heavier and it was time to explore the rides, the rain was coming in and I wanted to save £3 so skipped the two goes for the skeleter.  But the car park was starting to feel a bit more on the empty side, the rain waa then coming out in full spitty mode but not pissing down just yet. The Rides were as loud as ever too.

Then we go to the part when it was going to be passing the strip to finally get the last bits before heading back to the shop, the rain was starting to get heavier, but the stalls were really staritng to end, the tools one was practically  empty.  But it was then to plan out getting some chinese food and also to get some last bits possible too. It was the rain really starting to come down too.

Then it was the time to plan out on what food to get and also wth the new tradition of the leftover parts to get from the stall which has the returned products too, it was hopefully finding a bike light or usb sort of for £4, which later on I would find out is not the case. Then it was time to pickup a nice meal of chicken noodles with curry sauce but that was a whopping £9.50 for that but it had its taste. I eventually walked back to the shop when it was pouring with rain, through the streeet.

The £4 bag of goody from that stall

I eventually Got back into the shop which in that case was time to finally unload and then time to get the point of enjoying the noodles before IT was time to  call it a night and end the vlog. The noodles did taste nice which given it a nice tang with the curry sauce.

The items purchased on the evening,£15 for the Pug Throw, £4 for the Bungie cord and £4 for the Luggae Scanner (Suprise item)

Then it was time to knuckle down on the editing and finish things off which then it was an all nighter to get the day vlog uploaded around about the 4am mark. With hearing people clean up, the misty rain when checking the streets every few hours when goign to the toilet and even the fact i was nice and warm in the shop while editing, it was going to be the crunch time.

But for the main day, thats all for now and soon for the week ahead to post on how it was.
